Wingate University Athletics

Tori Waldron earned two starts and appeared in all 18 Wingate matches during 2009. The defender scored one goal in a 3-0 win over Embry Riddle and also tallied one assist in a victory at Coker.

Waldron was an all-star on the field and in the classroom at Howard High School. In soccer, she was All-County following her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Fellow Bulldog freshman Meghan Mastalerz was one of her teammates at Howard. Waldron served as a team captain for the Howard soccer side her senior year. In club soccer, she earned a Division championship with the Free State Sharks. In the classroom, she was an AP Scholar and a member of the honor roll at Howard. Tori is the daughter of Brian and Sheri Sandberg.
