2013-14 Women's Swimming Roster
Biography
2012-13: Amanda Gilbert was a Bluegrass Mountain Conference champion in the 200 Freestyle Relay, helping the Bulldogs claim the team title. Gilbert was an honorable mention All-American in the same event. As a junior, she had two individual finishes which register in the Wingate swimming history top 10. Her times in the 50 Freestyle (24.19) and the 100 Fly (53.83) were both achieved at the 15th annual BMC Swimming Championships. Gilbert and the 200 Free Relay quartet hold the Bulldog school record (1:34.40). Gilbert served as the coordinator for Wingate’s nationally-recognized Special Olympics Swimming venue (

2011-12: Gilbert was an All-BMC performer in the 200 and the 400 Freestyle Relays. She helped Wingate finish second in the 200 Freestyle Relay and fourth in the 400 Freestyle Relay. Gilbert helped run Wingate’s award-winning Special Olympics Swimming venue.
2010-11: Gilbert received honorable mention All-American accolades for the 200 Freestyle and 200 Medley Relay events following a successful freshman campaign. In her first Bluegrass Mountain Conference meet, she was an All-Conference selection in the 50 Freestyle, the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 and 400 Freestyle relay events.
