Biography
2010-11: As a junior, Pales was an All-Bluegrass Mountain Conference selection in the 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay. Pales and her teammates posted the school’s fifth-fastest time in the 200 Freestyle Relay. Pales is one of the top student-athletes on the Wingate team.
2009-10: During her sophomore campaign, Pales showed continued improvement. She continued to add depth and talent in the sprint department; she showed her maturity by swimming crucial relays all season long. Pales finished 21st in her 200 Freestyle and 22nd in her 50 Freestyle at the BGMC championships. She was member of a pair of All-Conference Relays.
2008-09: As a freshman, Pales showed much maturity by swimming her season-best times at the BMC championships meet. As a member of the sprint freestyle group, Pales was almost always on important relays. She was a vital player in every dual meet and championship meet setting.
HIGH SCHOOL: Pales is from Indian Land, S.C.; she is a Communication major. She attended Moon Area High School. Pales was a member of the National Honor Society in high school and won four letters for coach Jamie Morton. Brittany is the daughter of Kenneth and Nancy Pales.
