Biography
2016-17: Team captain...
2015-16: Erika Kaspersson swan two career-best times in the December Fall Frenzy in the 200 Freestyle (1:59.81) and the 200 Butterfly (2:15.75). At the season-ending Bluegrass Mountain Conference championship meet, she claimed eighth place in the 1650 Freestyle with a time of 17:38.18. Kaspersson was top 25 in both the BMC 1000 Freestyle (13th) and the BMC 500 Freestyle (25th).
2014-15: Kaspersson competes in the distance Freestyle events for the Bulldogs. She produced personal best times during the Bluegrass Mountain Conference championship in her signature events. Kaspersson was sixth in the 1650 Freestyle (17:34.96) and eighth in the 1000 Freestyle (10:40.15), earning a spot on the All-BMC team in both races. In the BMC 500 Freestyle race, she posted a time of 5:13.25 to take 20th place.Â
2013-14: Kaspersson swam the following career-best times at the ninth annual SCAD College Invitational in Savannah, Ga. Dec. 5: 2:02.84 (200 Freestyle), 5:17.96 (500 Freestyle) and 17:53.96 (1650 Freestyle). At the Quad Meet in Charlotte she swam the following times: 2:07.64 (200 Freestyle) and 2:20.73 (200 Butterfly).

She also tallied two career-bests at the Queens vs. Wingate meet in Charlotte: 5:27.22 (500 Freestyle) and 11:05.53 (1000 Freestyle). Kaspersson opened her collegiate career at the 2013 All-N.C. Invitational in Greensboro with the following times: 5:33.00 (500 Freestyle) and 18:34.23 (1650 Freestyle).
Personal: Kaspersson hails from Eslöv, Sweden. She is the daughter of Lars and Carina Kaspersson. She attended Nyköpings Gymnasium, where she was a regional medalist. Her senior and junior years, she made it to finals at Nationals. Kaspersson’s top three events and times are 1500 Free (17:45.47), 800 Free (9:13) and 400 Free (4:33.34). When Kaspersson is not swimming, she loves to spend time with friends and outdoor activities.
