Biography
2013-14: Kellie Gervas swam a career-best 2:05.95 in the 200 Butterfly and 4:31.69 in the 400 Individual Medley at the ninth annual SCAD College Invitational in Savannah, Ga. Dec. 5. She opened her season with a personal-best 2:02.94 in the 200 Freestyle at the Queens vs. Wingate dual meet in Charlotte (

2012-13: Gervas recorded three of her career-best times during the 15th annual Bluegrass Mountain Conference Swimming Championships. Her times in the 200 Butterfly (2:08.44), 200 Individual Medley (2:07.69) and the 400 Individual Medley (4:32.50) place her in the top five for the best times ever recorded in each individual race at Wingate University. 2011-12: Gervas recorded her career-best 200 Freestyle time (1:58.73) in the SCAD Invitational. In the 2012 BMC championship meet, she posted a career-best 500 Freestyle time (5:08.40) in the MCAC pool. Gervas earned All-BMC distinction in the 200 Butterfly and the 400 Individual Medley.
Personal: Kellie Gervas was a four-year individual Pennsylvania state meet qualifier, two-time state medalist (100 Fly and 200 IM), and three-year captain at West Allegheny High School and West Allegheny Aqua Club. As a senior, Gervas was a key individual and relay swimmer as part of the Indians’ District 7 Championship (Pittsburgh Area) and Pennsylvania state runner-up in Class AA. She was part of the 400 Freestyle Relay team that qualified for a NISCA top-16 and an All-American time. One of her most memorable achievements in high school was not missing any swim practices in four years. Gervas was also a four-time letter winner as a midfielder on the soccer team while attending West Allegheny. Kellie is the daughter of
Michael and
Janet Gervas.
