Biography
Prior to Wingate: Maria Madsen specializes in the Freestyle events for the Wingate Bulldogs. The Denmark native swam for head coach Mick Steen Nielsen for two years and Mick Vestegnens’ Aqua team for two years prior. Swimming the freestyle leg, Madsen placed second at short course nationals in the 400 Medley Relay and third in the 200 Medley Relay. Madsen will swim the Freestyle sprint events during the 2015-16 season.
