2016-17: Maria Garcia went 1-0 in singles play during her junior season, collecting an 8-0 victory against Brevard at number five singles…Teamed with Oroma Womeodu to earn second team All-SAC doubles honors in the 2016-17 season…The duo posted a 13-7 record, going 7-3 in league play…They were 4-1 at number two doubles, while going 9-6 at one doubles…Started the season with a five-match winning streak, highlighted by an 8-6 win over #18 Francis Marion at two doubles…Won 8-6 at number one doubles against #50 Queens.

2015-16: Garcia earned first team All-SAC doubles honors during her sophomore season, teaming with Claudia De Andreis to go 9-3 at two doubles with a 6-1 record in league play…Compiled a 3-1 record in singles play, going 2-0 against league opponents.

2014-15: Garcia earned second team All-SAC doubles honors during her first season at Wingate…Piled up a team-best 16 singles victories, going 16-3 with a 9-1 record in SAC play…Picked up a win against Division I Davidson in her collegiate debut…Ended the season on a nine-match winning streak, dropping only one set…Teamed with classmate Oroma Womeodu to go 16-5 in doubles play, with a 9-2 record in conference play…The duo went 14-1 at number two doubles…They ended the season on a 10-match winning streak, including a 9-8 win at #28 Queens, an 8-1 win over Anderson in the SAC Tournament semifinals, an 8-6 victory over Queens in the SAC title match and an 8-2 win over #27 Flagler in the NCAA Tournament.
