2011: Grace Krauser earned second team All-SAC honors during her junior year at Wingate. She also earned first team Academic All-America accolades. She was one of only three players in the SAC to rank in the top 10 in kills and hitting percentage, ranking fifth with a .296 hitting percentage and ninth with 2.85 kills per set. She had double-digit kills 13 times on the year, while hitting at least .300 in nine of those contests. Krauser hit .324 with 14 kills in the win over Flagler.
2010: Krauser started 32 matches during her sophomore season, averaging 1.55 kills and 1.07 digs per set. She also had 29 aces and 59 blocks on the season, while hitting .248. Krauser had eight kills and 10 digs in the regular season victory over Flagler. She had six kills, 10 digs and three blocks at Tusculum, while notching 11 digs and four blocks in the following match against Francis Marion. Krauser had seven kills with a .350 hitting percentage against Catawba. She had career-highs of 15 kills and six blocks in Wingate’s win over Newberry in the SAC quarterfinals, hitting .394. Krauser earned the prestigious Elite 88 Award in December, given to the student athlete with the highest GPA at the Elite Eight.
2009: Krauser appeared in 31 matches in her freshman season at Wingate, averaging 1.42 kills per set while hitting .256. She was named the NCAA Southeast Region All-Tournament team. Krauser had a career-high 12 kills and seven digs while hitting .310 in Wingate’s 3-1 win over Catawba in the SAC Tournament semifinals. She had seven kills and no errors in 10 swings against Carson-Newman in the SAC championship match, while racking up seven kills in nine swings against the Eagles in the NCAA Regional semifinals. Krauser had 10 kills with a .533 hitting percentage against Saint Augustine’s, followed by a nine-kill performance against Queens.
High School: Krauser was a second team all-state player at Presentation Academy in Louisville. Playing for the highly competitive MAVA Junior Olympic Club, she was selected as an AAU All-American in 2007. In March, she was named to the All Tournament Team at the Wisconsin Dells Showcase.
An outstanding student, Krauser will attend Wingate on a prestigious Belk scholarship. She has accumulated a wealth of academic honors, including first team Academic All-State for the past four years.
