2017: Hannah Givens appeared in 19 matches during her junior season, making five starts…Collected 44 kills, averaging 1.22 kills per set with a .146 hitting percentage, adding 50 digs, seven blocks, five assists and three aces…Collected four kills and three digs against Francis Marion in two sets of action…Had five kills and seven digs in two sets against WSSU, hitting .364…Hit .500 with four kills at Catawba…Had a career-high 10 kills against UNCP, hitting .526 in two sets of action…Collected nine digs at Carson-Newman, while picking up eight digs at LMU.

2016: Givens appeared in 27 matches during her sophomore season at Wingate, collecting 13 kills and 19 digs to go along with four aces and a block…Hit .444 with five kills and seven digs in the win at Coker…Had five kills, four digs and a block in the Brevard victory.

2015: Givens appeared in 22 matches during her first season at Wingate, making four starts…Collected 40 kills and 25 digs on the year, averaging 1.14 kills per set while adding 16 blocks and three aces…Had five kills, four blocks and two digs against Shorter…Hit .375 with five kills against UNC Pembroke…Collected four kills and two digs against Mars Hill…Hit .294 with six kills against Lees-McRae…Had five kills at Anderson.

Previous: Givens was an All-State selection in her final two seasons at Green County High School, while also earning All-Tournament accolades both seasons...Played as an outside hitter on the highly competitive Mid-America Volleyball Club (MAVA) from Louisville Ky...An honor student...Was the senior yearbook editor and Spanish Club president.

Why Hannah chose Wingate:
The team atmosphere really drew me in. I could tell that everyone got along, worked hard, and pushed each other to be the best team that they could be. Now that I am here, what I saw when visiting the first time was so genuine. This team is like a family and I am so thankful to be a part of it!
