Biography
2007: Kathryn Reddick played in 74 games as a sophomore, averaging 1.22 kills per game and 0.73 digs per game. On the year, Reddick had 262 total attacks, 90 kills and 54 digs. Reddick received the team’s Most Improved Player Award.Kathryn Reddick led the Bulldogs and was second in the SAC with a .324 hitting percentage. She was also second on the team with .94 blocks per game and fourth with 2.54 kills per game. Reddick racked up 12 kills and 17 digs in Wingate’s 3-1 win over Pfeiffer. She also collected a double-double against Limestone, with 13 kills and 12 digs. Reddick had 12 matches with at least 10 kills on the year.
2006:
2005: Reddick played in 96 games in her first season as a Bulldog. She averaged 2.35 kills per game (226 total kills) and totaled 45 blocks.
High School: Reddick was MVP, captain and kill leader for her South Granville High School team and coach Rebecca Robbins. She was also a standout player for the N.C. Challengers club team that won the USA Regional Championships this year. Reddick was both captain and MVP of the volleyball team during her junior and senior seasons. As a senior, she was the conference Player of the Year. Reddick is a Pre-Pharmacy major at Wingate. Her parents are Charles and Susan Reddick.
Coach Collier: “I expected Kat to have a “breakout” year last season as a junior, and she did just that, earning all-SAC honors and having one of the top hitting percentages in the conference. This year, as a senior, she will have even more responsibility both on the court and with her leadership. Kat has been a starter in three straight SAC championship matches, and won two of them, and I am sure she will have a goal of winning another this year.”
