2017: Kori Adams earned second team All-SAC honors during her junior season at Wingate…Led the Bulldogs and ranked fifth in the conference with 5.31 digs per set, collecting 536 digs on the season…Led the SAC with 0.41 aces per set, registering 41 aces on the year…Enters her final season at Wingate with 1.386 career digs…Had double-digit digs in 28 of 31 matches…Picked up 19 digs in the Augusta win, followed by a 24-dig effort against Shorter…Started a stretch of 10 straight matches with double-digit digs with 17 against Coker and 21 against North Greenville…Had 26 digs in the five-set win at Tusculum during the stretch…Finished her season with double-digit digs in 16 straight matches, piling up 31 digs at Queens…Registered over 20 digs in four straight contests with 23 digs against Mars Hill, 21 digs against Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba and 22 digs at Carson-Newman…Had 19 digs in the sweep against LMU in the SAC Tournament…Piled up 31 digs in the five-set win against Carson-Newman in the NCAA Regional quarterfinals…Had 19 digs against Georgia College in the Regional semifinals.

2016: Adams appeared in six matches during her junior season before suffering a season-ending knee injury…received a medical redshirt and will be a redshirt junior in 2017…Compiled 4.62 digs per set in 16 sets, piling up 18 digs in a win over eventual regional champion USC Aiken and 21 digs in the sweep against Erskine.

2015: Adams appeared in all 33 matches during her sophomore season at Wingate, starting four contests while ranking second on the team with 114 sets played…Collected 330 digs on the season, ranking fourth on the Bulldogs with 2.89 digs per set…Finished third on the team with 157 assists during the year, while ranking second with 23 aces…Compiled double-digit digs 16 times on the year…Piled up 19 digs against Limestone…Served as the setter several times, collecting 31 assists and 13 digs against Erskine and 33 assists and 18 digs against Mars Hill…Notched 16 digs at Catawba while ending the year with double-digit digs in three straight postseason matches (12 vs. LMU, 15 vs. LRU, 16 vs. Lander).

2014: Adams was one of only two Bulldogs to appear in every match during the 2014 season…Earned honorable mention All-SAC honors…Took over the libero position during her freshman season…Led the Bulldogs with 3.54 digs per set, ranking 10th in the SAC…Helped the Wingate defense lead the league and rank 10th nationally in opponents’ hitting percetange…Finished second on the team and 11th in the conference with 35 aces on the year…Collected double-digit digs 26 times during her freshman season…Had 15 digs in the UNC Pembroke sweep, while notching 14 digs in the sweep at Anderson, starting a streak of nine straight double-digit dig matches…Piled up 21 digs in the four-set win at Newberry…Followed a 17-dig performance in the Anderson sweep by registering a career-high 26 digs in the five set win against Newberry…Had back-to-back 19-dig efforts against Carson-Newman and Coker, while racking up 26 digs in the sweep over Anderson in the SAC title match.

Why Kori chose Wingate:
"When looking for a school, I knew I wanted to go somewhere that had a very successful volleyball program.  I wanted to be apart of a high level volleyball team that set big goals and worked hard to accomplish them. When I visited Wingate and met the coaching staff and team I knew that it was exactly where I needed to be.  I love the high standards that Wingate University has academically and athletically.  It is such a great school to be apart of and I am so glad that I chose to come here!
