Pryd holds the all-time kill record at her high school, recording 808 kills. As a team captain she was ranked as one of the top opposite hitters in the state. Pryd was selected to the AAU National Championship All-Tournament team in July. She also excelled in track, as MVP and a nationally qualifying gymnast.

Wingate has everything I've ever wanted in a school. They have fantastic academics, unbelievably kind people, a beautiful campus and a great volleyball program. I'm so excited to play on Wingate's volleyball team and go to school there. Everything about the school, the people and the volleyball program draws me in and is a home away from home that I absolutely cannot wait to attend!!"
