2023 (GRAD STUDENT)
  • Young piled up the honors in her final season, ending her career as Wingate's all-time leader in hitting percentage
  • Was named the 2024 SAC Player of the Year and SAC Scholar-Athlete
  • Was named the NCAA Southeast Region Player of the Year by the AVCA and D2CCA
  • Earned D2CCA second team All-American honors and AVCA third team All-American accolades
  • First team All-SAC and All-Region honoree
  • Also picked up Academic All-District accolades
  • Finished the season ranked seventh in the nation with her .414 hitting percentage
  • Helped Wingate rank fourth nationally in hitting percentage and fifth in kills per set
  • Averaged 2.27 kills and 0.82 blocks per set, adding 84 digs and 38 aces
  • Helped lead the Bulldogs to a regular season SAC title and earn Regional hosting duties

2019 (FRESHMAN)
  • Earned a spot on the All-SAC Freshman Team in her first season at Wingate
  • Appeared in 29 matches, making 16 starts
  • Hit .322 with 1.53 kills and 1.12 blocks per set, adding 17 aces
  • Ranked fifth in the SAC in blocks per set and seventh in hitting percentage 
  • Hit .545 with seven kills and four blocks against Converse
  • Had five kills and four blocks in the Limestone win, hitting .375
  • Hit .538 with eight kills and two blocks at Queens
  • Had seven kills and five blocks against Mars Hill, hitting .538

Young led her Marvin Ridge High School team as a captain to the North Carolina State championship this month. She won the sportsmanship award at this year's state tournament. Young led the conference in hitting percentage. She played as a middle for Carolina Union Volleyball club coached by former Wingate assistant Abbi Hayes.
