2019 (JUNIOR)
  • Appeared in 17 matches making 14 starts in her first season at Wingate
  • Suffered a season-ending knee injury in the first set at Tusculum (Oct. 12)
  • Was among the nation's leader in total aces and aces per set at the time of her injury 
  • Ranked second on the team with 2.66 kills per set, hitting .186 while adding 0.68 digs and 0.57 blocks per set
  • Piled up 30 aces in 44 sets, averaging 0.68 aces per set
  • Had double-digit kills in five of 17 matches
  • Collected eight kills, three blocks and two aces in her Wingate debut against Belmont Abbey
  • Had eight kills, an ace and a block in the Augusta sweep
  • Collected 10 kills, five digs, three blocks and an ace in the Anderson sweep

Marianna Warren played for Gaffney High School and piled up 1,148 kills with a .300 hitting percentage in three seasons...She was a standout player in club volleyball with the highly-regarded Upward Stars junior program.

"As a high school player several years ago, we recruited her with a high degree of interest, and she made a great impression on us, so we are very familiar with her and her level of play. When she expressed interest in making the transfer to Wingate, we were excited to welcome her here. We are looking forward to her being an impact player here as a hitter and as a leader."
