Why Shannon Chose Wingate:
"
I chose Wingate because of the incredibly amazing high level the volleyball program portrayed along with the large academic opportunities the university showed they had to offer."

Collier:
"
Shannon did not play high school or club volleyball last year as a senior in high school as she was recovering from knee surgery,  however, she came in remarkably well-prepared with her setting, defense, athleticism and her outwardly competitive leadership. She is ready to make a strong contribution this year as our backup setter and because she came in so well-prepared, will have the option of running a 6-2 with her setting and Alles attacking, which is a nice option."
