Wingate University Athletics

Katelyn Lliso is one of the senior staff members for the Wingate University Sports Medicine Department and is entering her fifth year. In her current position, she oversees the Wingate field hockey, men’s basketball and tennis programs.

Lliso is a Wingate University alum where she earned her B.S. in athletic training in 2018. She also earned her Masters in Exercise and Health Promotion with a Concentration in Rehab Science at California University of Pennsylvania. 

In addition to her previous work at Wingate, she served as the head athletic trainer at Johnson & Wales, she also has served as an athletic trainer for the Charlotte Independence Soccer Club through Novant Health, the Carolina Vipers Collegiate Baseball Club, and the Prime Time Players Semi-Pro Basketball team. She also gained clinical experience working for the Charlotte Checkers, and the volleyball, women's soccer, and football teams at Wingate.
