Lacie Geisel is entering her fourth year with the sports medicine program as the Assistant Director of Athletic Health Care. Currently, Geisel serves as the athletic trainer for the women’s soccer team and oversees MAT clinical immersion students.

Geisel came to Wingate from Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She served two years as a graduate assistant working with the volleyball and beach volleyball programs. She received a M.Ed. with a Coaching Emphasis in May 2019. After her graduate assistantship was over, she served three years with the women's soccer team as a full-time assistant athletic trainer. 

Prior to her days at Carson-Newman, Geisel graduated in May 2017 with her B.S. in athletic training at Concord University where she was a part of the women’s soccer program.
