Senior designated player Kayla Saliga hit .588 for the Bulldogs last week, going 10-for-17 with four doubles, six RBI and four runs scored as the 'Dogs went 6-0 on the week, including a win over No. 25 Columbus State. The Bulldogs were the only team to go undefeated in the Cougar Classic in Columbus, Ga. over the weekend. Wingate's 8-0 start is the best since the 2007 season.

She went two-for-three with a run scored in the 9-0 win over Pfeiffer, while going one-for-three with two RBI in the 5-4 win over #25 Columbus State.
