Three-time All-American soccer player Jade Montgomery was named the Wingate University Female Athlete of the Year at the 2015 WUSPYS in May. She was named the SAC Player of the Year for the third consecutive season, while also earning Region Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.
Montgomery earned All-American accolades for the third consecutive season, earning first team honors from the NSCAA and third team accolades from Daktronics. She led the SAC with 15 goals and 36 points, finishing fourth on the league's all-time charts in goals and points. The four-time All-SAC and All-Region selection is the first person in women's soccer history to earn SAC Player of the Year honors three times.
In her illustrious career, Montgomery has been named to five All-American teams, which includes two first team honors. She is the only soccer player, male or female, to earn SAC Player of the Year honors three times. Wingate played in the SAC title match all four years of her career, while also earning an NCAA Tournament bid all four years. Montgomery finished her career with 66 goals and 25 points, ranking fourth on the league's all-time charts in goals and points (157). She had 19 career multi-goal games and five hat tricks.
