Wingate University Athletics

Wingate University senior Ossian Arvidsson (Kungälv, Sweden) won three individual events as the Bulldogs defeated NCAA Division I Gardner-Webb University 181-134 in dual meet action Friday and Saturday.
 
On Saturday at Gardner-Webb, Arvidsson won the 500 Freestyle (4:40.73) and the 400 Individual Medley (4:07.39). On Friday at Wingate, he touched first in the 200 Individual Medley (1:55.42). Arvidsson led a 1-2-3 Bulldog charge in both Individual Medley events.
 
Wingate will take a competitive break for the Thanksgiving holidays. The Bulldogs will host the Wingate University Fall Frenzy Dec. 4-6 in Rock Hill, S.C. The Rock Hill Aquatics Center is the site for this year’s event.
