Wingate University freshman setter Rachel Alles (Tinley Park, Ill.) earned SAC Specialist of the Week honors for the second time on Tuesday after leading the No. 23 Bulldogs to two more conference wins last week.
Alles handed out 10.78 assists per set in the two victories last week, adding 3.33 digs and 1.44 kills per set. She collected a career-high 51 assists in the five-set win at Mars Hill Friday night, adding 14 kills and eight digs while hitting .615. Alles had 46 assists, 16 digs and five kills in Saturday's victory over Tusculum.
Alles is second in the conference with 9.94 assists per set, adding 2.48 digs per set. She runs a Wingate offense that leads the SAC in kills per set, assists per set and hitting percentage.
