Wingate senior Leif-Henning Klüver (Risum-Lindholm, Germany) helped the number 11 Bulldogs tie Gardner-Webb and defeat Catawba in a busy weekend. Klüver won two individual races at GWU Friday. In addition, Klüver swam the anchor leg for Wingate’s victorious 400 Freestyle Relay quartet (3:09.14).
 
Klüver touched first in the 200 Individual Medley (1:56.10) and the 200 Backstroke (1:53.76) at Gardner-Webb’s Bost Pool. In his final visit to Bluegrass Mountain Conference foe Catawba, Klüver won the 200 Freestyle with his triumphant time of 1:43.32 Saturday. In addition, Klüver helped the Bulldogs win the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:28.52). Klüver swam the third leg.
