Junior Brittany Blankenship went 1-0 on the week with a 0.00 ERA for the 10th-ranked Bulldogs. Blankenship tossed a complete game shutout against Armstrong Atlantic State, allowing six hits while striking out two in Wingate’s 3-0 win. She came in in relief in the second game and did not allow a hit in 2.2 innings while striking out one. 

Blankenship is 9-1 on the season with a 0.60 ERA and 66 strikeouts against eight walks in 69.2 innings of work.
