Wingate, N.C.----The North Greenville University football team scored five touchdowns from six Wingate University turnovers and recorded 570 yards total offense in a 54-7 NCAA Division II victory over the Bulldogs at Irwin Belk Stadium and John R. Martin Field. The NGU Crusaders earn their first victory over Wingate in eight tries.
Wingate falls to 5-5 overall. The Bulldogs conclude South Atlantic Conference play Saturday, visiting Tusculum College for a 1:30 p.m. contest. North Greenville has won six games in a row, improving its record to 8-2 overall. The Crusaders host Notre Dame (Ohio) College Saturday at 1 p.m.
