Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University and New Salem American Legion Post 440 presents the inaugural Tailgating for the Troops Project Saturday, Nov. 10 at Irwin Belk Stadium, prior to the Wingate versus Tusculum football game. In association with Operation North State, Post 440 will be collecting comfort items to send to our troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Bulldog fans can also bring cash donations for Operation North State and letters of support to the big game! Participants will also have an opportunity to sign the Supporting the Troops banner. The Tailgating for the Troops Project begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10. The tent will remain open until kick-off (1:30 p.m.). Please find a list of permissible items at this
