Harrogate, Tenn.----Lincoln Memorial University shot a season-best 86.4 percent from the foul line, surviving a furious Wingate University rally to take a 75-71 South Atlantic Conference women's basketball victory at Tex Turner Arena on the LMU campus Saturday night. The host Railsplitters hit 19-of-22 from the charity stripe.

Lincoln Memorial evens its 2013-14 slate at 6-6 overall. The Railsplitters are 5-3 in the SAC. Wingate is 9-3 overall and 5-3 in the SAC. The Bulldogs begin a stretch of six home games in eight opportunities Wednesday, hosting Queens University of Charlotte in Cuddy Arena and Thomas Koontz Family Court. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m.
 
For LMU, junior guard Aisjah Roan (Louisville, Ky.) had 15 points and six rebounds. Junior guard Katrina Ottesen (Chandler, Ariz.) added 11 points, while senior guard/forward MaRanda Boddie (Springfield, Ohio) contributed eight points and a team-best nine rebounds.
 
Wingate placed four players in double digits. Senior forward Kayla Harris (Raleigh, N.C.) posted her sixth double-double of the season with 19 points and 12 rebounds, both team bests.
Sophomore forward Morgan McGee (Durham, N.C.) had 17 points and seven rebounds. WU freshman guard Shelby Tricoli (Waynesville, N.C.) and senior guard Janitsha Williams (Statesville, N.C.) added 13 and 12 points, respectively.
