Wednesday’s basketball doubleheader at Queens postponed due to weather

Charlotte, N.C.----The Wingate University men's and women's basketball games at Queens University, originally scheduled for Wednesday night, have been postponed due to weather. The doubleheader will now take place Monday, Feb. 17 at Queens. The women's game will be at 6 p.m., with the men's game starting at 8 p.m.

The Wingate women are 16-4 overall and 12-4 in the SAC, tied for first with Lenoir-Rhyne. The Wingate men are 13-7 overall and 10-6 in the SAC, in a three-way tie for fourth place. Both teams will be busy in the next week, with four games in eight days, including three road contests. Wingate men and women travel to Carson-Newman Saturday afternoon. After traveling to Queens Monday, both teams go to Coker Wednesday. Wingate returns to Cuddy Arena Saturday, hosting Lincoln Memorial.
