Elma N'For (Yaoundé, Cameroon) scored a pair of goals Wednesday night, leading the top-ranked Bulldogs to a 2-0 victory at Catawba College in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action. Wingate improves to 12-0 overall and 9-0 in the SAC, while the Indians fall to 8-5 overall and 5-4 in the conference.
N'For got the Bulldogs on the board in the 27th minute, netting his eighth goal of the season to give Wingate a 1-0 lead. The 'Dogs led 1-0 at halftime, out-shooting Catawba 8-3, while holding a 3-0 advantage in shots on goal.
The Bulldogs added to their lead 18 minutes into the second half, when N'For scored his second goal of the night and team-best ninth of the season, getting an assist from 2015 SAC Player of the Year
Jon Ander (Bilbao, Spain) to make it 2-0. N'For now ranks third in the conference in goals, while Ander is third in the league in assists.
Wingate dominated the action all night, out-shooting the Indians 21-3 while holding a 4-0 advantage in shots on goal. The Bulldogs also took 12 of the 13 corner kicks in the game. Ander and senior

Sophomore goalkeeper
Pablo Jara (Santiago, Chile) and the Bulldog defense registered their sixth shutout of the season without allowing a shot on goal.
Joe Gonzalez had a pair of saves for Catawba.
