Wingate, N.C.----The top-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs wrapped up their first-ever undefeated and untied regular season Saturday night, defeating No. 25 Tusculum College 2-1 in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action. Wingate ends the regular season 14-0 overall and 11-0 in the SAC, while Tusculum falls to 13-3 overall and 8-3 in the conference. The Bulldogs took a two-goal lead with 20 minutes left in the first half, when a lead pass from Jon Ander (Bilbao, Spain) found Mateo Correa (Medellin, Colombia) towards the corner. He sent a cross to the top of the box, where senior Aksel Juul (Newcastle, England) was there to net his fifth goal of the year on Senior Night.

Tusculum cut into the lead in the 32nd minute, when Tyler Linkous took the rebound off a save and scored his third goal of the year, making it 2-1.
