Salisbury, N.C.----The Catawba College Indians scored twice in the final 19 minutes Wednesday night, prevailing 2-1 over visiting Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action. The Indians snap an 11-game losing streak against the Bulldogs, improving to 7-2 overall and 3-2 in league play. Wingate drops its second straight, falling to 5-3-1 overall and 2-2 in the SAC.
