Harrogate, Tenn.----Wingate University seniors
Phoebe Havenaar and
Hannah Givens combined for 25 kills against just three errors Saturday afternoon, leading the Bulldogs to a 3-1 victory at Lincoln Memorial University in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action. Wingate won by scores of 25-20, 25-17, 20-25 and 25-15 to improve to 16-0 overall and 9-0 in the SAC. The Bulldogs are one of two undefeated teams in all of NCAA Division II volleyball. LMU falls to 9-6 overall and 5-4 in league play.

"We had to really work hard to win this one today. After losing that third set, LMU had a lot of momentum playing in their gym. For us to come out in the fourth set and hit .467 was impressive on our part. We played some really good defense and Hannah and Phoebe were really strong with efficient attacking today."
