Wingate, N.C.----The Limestone College Saints erased an 11-point deficit in the final three minutes of regulation, with a desperation three in the final second sending it to overtime, then got the game-winner in the final second of overtime, prevailing 95-93 in NCAA Division II men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Limestone improves to 2-0 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 1-1 on the season.

- Elijah Lockhart's free throw got Limestone within one at the 6:09 mark
- Buckets from Haskins, Strozier and Francis Sio pushed the WU advantage back to seven
- Lockhard's bucket with 1:48 left in the half got the Saints back within a point
- Haskins and Charlie Hovasse each hit jumpers in the final 90 seconds, giving the 'Dogs a 46-41 halftime lead
SECOND HALF
- The 'Dogs scored the first nine points of the second half, getting five points from Logan to take a 55-41 lead
- Sheppard's three and Hairston's free throw got the Saints back within nine five minutes into the half
- Buckets from Logan and Haskins pushed the Wingate edge back to 14 points with 14 minutes left
- Limestone used a 9-0 run to get within three when Hairston's bucket at the 5:28 mark made it 72-69
- Wingate answered by scoring the next eight points, with a Logan triple making it 80-69 with three minutes left
- WU led by eight with a minute left, but Sheppard's three and two Evans Moreau free throws made it a three-point game
- Sheppard's steal and layup capped a 7-0 run that took just 23 seconds, getting the Saints within one
- Johnson hit two free throws with 19 seconds left to push the lead back to three
- Sheppard's deep double-clutch three with one second left went down, forcing overtime
OVERTIME
- Two Johnson free throws and a Johnson three gave WU a three-point lead two minutes in
- Sheppard answered with a three, whiel his three at the 1:43 mark put the Saints ahead 93-90
- Haskins was fouled shooting a three and made all three free throw with seven seconds left to tie it
- Sheppard drove in for the game-winning layup with one second left
