Kendall Wells scored a career-high seven goals, lifting the Bulldogs to a 15-8 NCAA Division II women's lacrosse victory over
Chowan University Saturday afternoon. Wingate is 1-1 overall. The Bulldogs host Rollins (Fla.) College Sunday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m.

Arion Pierre played 60 minutes, notching seven saves while allowing eight goals.
"We had some mistakes in the first half and came out a little flat," Wingate interim head women's lacrosse coach
Kirsten Smith says. "We fixed what we needed to fix for the second half. We were able to spread the field and move the ball faster up field in the second half to find the back of the net. Our attack was a true team effort."
