#20 Wingate has five-match unbeatean streak snapped at Lenoir-Rhyne

Hickory, N.C.----The 20th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs suffered their first loss since the season opener Saturday afternoon, falling 3-1 at Lenoir-Rhyne University in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action at Moretz Athletic Complex. The Bears improve to 4-3 on the season and 3-1 in conference play, while the Bulldogs fall to 4-2-1 overall and 2-1 in the SAC.

KEY PLAYERS

- Victor Cascon scored two goals on the afternoon for the Bears
- Cameron Saul found the back of the net for Lenoir-Rhyne
- Marco Sellen notched his second goal of the season for the Bulldogs
 
FIRST HALF

- Cascon netted the first goal of the game in the 21st minute of action
- Florian Simon would find Cascon in the 35th minute to give the Bears the 2-0 lead
 
SECOND HALF

- Saul would give LR a three-goal advantage in the 86th minute
