Lambillotte leads the way as ‘Dogs move to 13-0 with sweep over Newberry

Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University freshman outside hitter Molly Lambillotte piled up a career-high 16 kills Saturday afternoon, leading the Bulldogs to a 3-0 victory over visiting Newberry College in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate won by scores of 25-11, 25-20 and 25-22 to improve to 13-0 overall and 6-0 in the SAC. The Wolves fall to 7-8 overall and 2-6 in league play.

"After a highly emotional win last night, we had a challenge bouncing back today at noon with the goal of playing at a high level again. It was great for Molly Lambillotte to step up and energize our team, along with fellow freshman Reese Blackley. We are working hard to find lineup combinations that can have success and were pleased to get two solid wins at home this weekend."
