Jakob Dawkins combined for 44 points Saturday afternoon, leading the Wingate University Bulldogs to an 84-76 victory at Mars Hill University in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action. Wingate wins its fifth straight, improving to 9-5 overall and 5-1 in the SAC. The Lions fall to 6-5 overall and 1-3 in league play.
