Wingate rolls to 5-0 victory at Mars Hill to push winning streak to six

Mars Hill, N.C.---- The Wingate University Bulldogs blanked their fourth straight conference opponent Wednesday evening, while five different players scored in the 5-0 victory at Mars Hill University in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action Meares Stadium. The Bulldogs improve to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in league play, while the Lions fall to 1-6-1 on the season, and 1-3 in conference.

- Wingate took all 22 shots in the game
- The Bulldogs held an 8-0 advantage in shots on goal
- WU took three corners while the Lions took two
Caroline Peters had a goal, registering two shots on goal
- Kaitlyn Cox also had a goal, collecting three shots on frame

- The Bulldogs would cap the scoring when Rubio Garcia drilled one in from the right edge of the box in the 85th minute
