Wingate, N.C.----The 15th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs scored three times in the first 10 minutes Saturday afternoon, rolling to a 6-0 victory over Lincoln Memorial University in the quarterfinals of the 2019 South Atlantic Conference men's soccer tournament at Pride Park. The Bulldogs move to 11-2-3 on the season, advancing to Friday's SAC Tournament semifinals. The Railsplitters finish the season 6-8-3 overall.

FIRST HALF
- The Bulldogs started the scoring early
- In the fifth minute of action Cutts sent the ball into the box, finding Ngongo who chipped it over the keeper
- WU struck again two minutes later
- Hendry would find Cutts in top of the box
- Cutts tapped the ball toward the right corner and finished into the left side of the net
- The 'Dogs would net a third goal in ninth minute of play
- Scully sent in the ball from the Wingate defensive third past the Railsplitters back line
- Ngongo found the other end of the through ball and drilled the ball into right corner of the net
SECOND HALF
-The Bulldogs started the scoring in the second half in the 57th minute
- Nygaard played the ball from the center of the pitch out to Hendry on the left wing
- Hendry settled and slotted the ball to the far post
- Eight minutes later, Cutts would net another goal for Wingate
- Nygaard again facilitated for the Bulldog offense, finding Cutts in middle of the box
- Cutts drilled it home left foot to make it 5-0
- Fahlen Bruun capped the scoring for the afternoon in the 68th minute of action
- Nygaard sent the ball to the left post and Fahlen Bruun drove it into the back of the net between the keeper and the near post.
