Austin Turgeon fired a nine-inning complete game to lead the Bulldogs to a 5-3 victory in the opener against Erskine College Friday afternoon in NCAA Division II baseball action, while
Logan McNeely's two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning gave the 'Dogs a thrilling 5-4 victory in game two. The Bulldogs sweep the three-game series, moving to 8-3 overall while the Flying Fleet fall to 7-5 on the season. Wingate is a perfect 6-0 at Ron Christopher Stadium this season.
