Frankie Johnson registered the first triple double for the Bulldogs in the Brian Good era as the Bulldogs raced out to a 63-28 halftime lead en route to a 98-69 victory over the visiting Mars Hill University Lions in NCAA Division II men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate improves to 15-10 overall and 11-6 in the SAC, while the Lions fall to 9-14 overall and 3-12 in league play.

"We were really good on both ends of the floor to start the game. Our defense led to some really good looks offensively and we got it rolling early. Really happy our seniors had games like they did on Senior Night. Pretty impressive that our point guard managed to get 14 rebounds as part of a triple-double."

- WU raced out to a 16-3 lead four minutes in, getting two Haskins triples along with a three from Logan and Charlie Hovasse
- Threes from Sio and Johnson pushed the lead to 18, while a Haskins tip-in put WU on top by 20 at the 10:23 mark
- Logan drained back-to-back threes, while a Haskins three at the 8:35 mark gave the 'Dogs a 45-15 advantage
- Another Logan triple and Johnson layup extended the lead to 33 with 3:29 remaining
- Javonte Cook's bucket got Mars Hill within 29, but Logan and Cottingham drilled triples to make it 60-25
