Belmont, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs got two combined homers and seven RBI from Tyler Schneider and Jed Bryant Tuesday afternoon, while the bullpen did not allow an earned run in 6 2/3 innings of work as the 'Dogs downed Belmont Abbey 13-7 in NCAA Division II baseball action. Wingate moves to 4-0 on the season, while the Crusaders fall to 1-3 overall.

- Wingate answered with a seven-run fifth inning
- A Mellett single, followed by a walk and hit batsman loaded the bases with one out
- Llewellyn tied the game at seven with a two-run single
- Bryant followed with his first homer of the year, tucking one inside the foul pole in left to put WU on top 10-7
