Florence, S.C.----The 11th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs rolled to a 4-0 victory over Augusta University on day one of the 2019 Florence Invitational, hosted by Francis Marion University. Wingate improves to 2-0 on the season, while the Jaguars fall to 1-1 overall.

DOUBLES

- Daniel Belsito and Josep Canyadell teamed for a 6-3 victory at number one doubles
- Duncan Addison and Enrico Giacomini rolled to a 6-2 win at two doubles to clinch the doubles point
- Tolunay Sumer and Matthew Jones led 5-4 at three doubles when the point was clinched

SINGLES

- Jones prevailed 6-4, 6-1 at number two singles
- Canyadell won 6-2, 6-1 at four singles
- Giacomini cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 victory at five singles
- Belsito led 6-0, 5-1 at one singles when the match was clinched
- Sumer held a 6-4, 4-2 advantage at three singles
- Christian Della Cioppa dropped set one 6-4 but led 4-2 in set two at six singles
