Wingate, N.C.----The fifth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs rallied from losing the doubles point Wednesday afternoon, going 4-2 in singles play en route to a 4-3 victory over No. 21 Queens University in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action. Wingate improves to 9-2 overall and 4-0 in the SAC, picking up their 94th league win in its last 101 matches. Queens falls to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in league play.

"I'm very happy for both teams! They had to dig deep and come from behind today. The men battled hard and had to regroup after getting swept in doubles. It was just a great match and came down to the last match on the court, where we were fortunate to get the win."
DOUBLES
- Queens won all three doubles matches to clinch the doubles point

- Belsito rolled to a 6-2, 6-1 victory at number one singles to make it 1-1
- Queens won at two singles to regain a 2-1 advantage in the match
- Giacomini picked up a 6-1, 7-5 victory at six singles to tie it back up at two
- Canyadell prevailed 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 at four singles to put the 'Dogs on top 3-2
- The Royals won at number three singles, tying the match 3-3

Tolunay Sumer prevailed 6-2, 7-5 to clinch the Wingate victory
- Sumer also won the clincher in Wingate's 4-3 win over #5 Lander earlier this season
