Harrogate, Tenn.----The 19th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs remained perfect on the season, prevailing 6-1 at Lincoln Memorial University in South Atlantic Conference women's tennis action Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs improve to 12-0 overall and 5-0 in the SAC, while the Railsplitters fall to 9-3 overall and 3-3 in league play.

DOUBLES

- Michela Verpelli and Alisa Rudenko, ranked 18th in the nation, won 6-3 at one doubles
- Arianna Ceccaroni and Riann Hsu picked up a 6-4 victory at three doubles
- Wingate took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Verpelli, ranked 14th nationally, won 1-6, 7-6, 7-5 at one singles
- Rudenko prevailed 6-3, 6-3 at two singles
- Chyi Lee rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 victory at number four singles
- Claudia De Andreis won 6-1, 6-7, 6-3 at five singles
- Camilla Ciaccia notched a 6-4, 6-2 victory at six singles
