Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs left 21 runners on base Saturday afternoon, dropping a pair of games against 16th-ranked Newberry College in South Atlantic Conference baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Filed. The Wolves won the opener 10-8, while prevailing 6-3 in game two to improve to 31-7 overall and 14-1 in the SAC. The Bulldogs fall to 23-12 overall and 9-6 in league play.
