‘Dogs drop two at Tusculum

Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs were dropped a pair of games for the second time this week in league play, with Tusculum University sweeping a South Atlantic Conference softball doubleheader Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers rallied for a 5-4 win in game one, while prevailing 4-0 in game two to improve to 17-11 overall and 5-5 in the SAC. The 'Dogs fall to 24-12 overall and 5-5 in league play.

- She allowed one hit in four shutout innings, striking out one and walking two
- Rachel Weidner took the loss, falling to 12-6
- She allowed three runs on three hits in three innings
