Wingate, N.C.----The 19th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs kept their unblemished season intact Tuesday afternoon, cruising to a 7-0 victory over Limestone College in NCAA Division II women's tennis action. Wingate improves to 8-0 overall, while the Saints fall to 1-5 overall. The 'Dogs have shutout seven of their eight opponents this season.

DOUBLES

- Michela Verpelli and Alisa Rudenko rolled to a 6-1 victory at one doubles
- Chyi Lee and Sydney Homan won by the same score at three doubles
- Camilla Ciaccia and Arianna Ceccaroni were tied 3-3 at two doubles when WU clinched the point
- Wingate took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Verpelli rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 win at number one singles
- Rudenko cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at two singles
- Riann Hsu won 6-0, 6-1 at number three singles
- Lee prevailed 9-8 at four singles
- Ceccaroni picked up a 6-4, 6-2 victory at number five singles
- Homan finished things off with an 8-2 win at six singles
