Wingate, N.C.----The top-seeded and fifth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs are onto the SAC Tournament semifinals after rolling to a 4-0 victory over eighth-seeded Catawba College in the quarterfinals of the 2019 South Atlantic Conference men's tennis tournament. Wingate improves to 16-4 overall, while the Indians fall to 10-11 on the season.

Josep Canyadell rolled to a 6-0 victory at one doubles

Roy Stepanov for a 6-2 win at number two doubles

Duncan Addison were tied 4-4 at three doubles when WU clinched the point

SINGLES
- Belsito won 6-2, 6-3 at number one singles
- Stepanov rolled to a 6-1, 6-2 victory at four singles

Tolunay Sumer cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win at number five singles
- Jones won the first set and was leading 2-1 at two singles when the match ended
- Canyadell was tied 6-6 in the opening set at four singles
- Giacomini was up a set at six singles
