Hickory, N.C.----The Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears had no answer for the Wingate offense Tuesday afternoon, as the Bulldogs scored 23 runs in a pair of dominant victories in South Atlantic Conference softball action. Wingate won the opener 8-3, while rolling to a 15-4 victory in game two to improve to 32-16 overall and 11-9 in the SAC. The Bears fall to 25-17 overall and 8-9 in league play. Wingate sweeps its second straight doubleheader at Lenoir-Rhyne.
