Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs kept their unblemished season intact Wednesday afternoon, cruising to a 7-0 victory over Coker College in South Atlantic Conference women's tennis action. The Bulldogs improve to 14-0 overall and 7-0 in the SAC, while the Cobras fall to 3-13 overall and 0-7 in league play.
DOUBLES
- The nation's 24th-ranked doubles team of
Michela Verpelli and
Alisa Rudenko won 6-2 at one doubles
- The 29th-ranked duo of
Claudia De Andreis and
Chyi Lee prevailed 6-1 at two doubles

- Verpelli, ranked 31st in the nation, rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win at one singles
- The nation's 71st-ranked player, Rudenko won by the same scores at two singles
- Lee picked up a 6-3, 6-4 win at number three singles
- Ciaccia rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at four singles
- Arianna Ceccaroni cruised to an 8-0 victory at five singles
- Homan won by the same score at six singles
